Community Guidelines

The standards every member agrees to — online, in chat, and on the date itself.

Last updated: August 9, 2026

Hven exists so people can grow and meet in person, safely and honestly. These Community Guidelines set the standard of behavior we expect from every member — in your profile, in conversations with AiA and coaches, in chat, and on the dates themselves. They form part of our Terms of Use & Conditions; violating them can cost you your account.

Be Yourself

One account, one person, and it must be you. Every member passes real-selfie verification, and profiles that misrepresent who you are — someone else’s photos, a materially different age, a fabricated identity — are removed.

Use recent photos that genuinely look like you. Showing up to a date as someone your match doesn’t recognize breaks the entire premise of Hven.

Don’t impersonate any person, brand, or organization, and don’t create accounts on behalf of someone else.

Respect Everyone

No harassment, stalking, threats, or intimidation — on the platform or off it.

No hate speech or discrimination on the basis of race, ethnicity, religion, nationality, disability, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation, or age.

No unsolicited sexual content, and no pressuring anyone for photos, contact details, or a meeting. A “no” — or silence — is an answer.

Rejection is part of dating. Take it gracefully; retaliation after a declined match or an unsuccessful date is a violation.

Keep It Safe — and Keep Your Money

First dates on Hven happen at partner venues and public places. Keep them there — don’t move a first meeting to a private location.

Never send money, gift cards, or financial information to anyone you meet on Hven, and never take investment advice from a match. Anyone who asks — however convincing the story — should be reported immediately. This is the single most common romance scam, and no genuine match will ever need your money.

Protect your own details: don’t share your home address, workplace schedule, or financial information with someone you haven’t met.

Use the in-app reporting and blocking tools. Reports are confidential — the person you report is not told who reported them.

Adults Only

Hven is exclusively for adults aged 18 and over.

We operate zero tolerance toward child sexual abuse and exploitation, as set out in our Child Safety Standards. Accounts involving minors in any way are removed and, where appropriate, reported to authorities.

Dates Are the Point

Accept an introduction only if you intend to show up. Cancel like an adult — as early as you can, through the app — rather than going silent.

Repeated no-shows and last-minute cancellations affect the introductions you receive and can lead to account restrictions.

Review your dates honestly. Reviews exist to keep the community safe and genuine, not to settle scores — abusive or retaliatory reviews are removed.

No Commercial Use

Member accounts are for dating and personal growth — not for promotion, solicitation, recruiting, selling, or advertising of any kind.

Commercial sexual services, escorting, and transactional arrangements are prohibited and result in permanent removal.

Coaches, venues, and event hosts operate through partner accounts with their own rules — apply through the partner program rather than promoting through a member account.

Content Rules

No nudity or sexually explicit material in profile photos or community spaces.

No content that depicts or promotes violence, self-harm, illegal drugs, or illegal activity of any kind.

No spam, scams, phishing links, or attempts to move people onto other platforms to evade our safety systems.

These rules apply everywhere on Hven: profiles, chat once it unlocks, community posts and comments, and anything you send to coaches or partners.

Off-Platform Conduct Counts

Hven introductions lead to real-world meetings, so behavior on a date matters as much as behavior in the app.

We act on credible reports of off-platform misconduct toward other members — including on dates and at events — exactly as if it happened on the platform.

Reporting and Enforcement

Report profiles, messages, media, or behavior from anywhere in the app, or by emailing [email protected].

Enforcement is proportionate to the violation and its history: warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspension, or permanent removal. The most serious violations — violence, fraud, CSAE, commercial sexual services — result in immediate permanent removal.

We cooperate with law enforcement where legally required or where necessary to protect someone’s safety.

If you believe an enforcement action was a mistake, contact [email protected] and we will review it.

These Community Guidelines form part of the Hven Terms of Use & Conditions. We update them as the community grows; material changes are announced through the Services.
